Melbourne Dynamo FC are please to announce that we have been granted planning permission by South Derbyshire District Council to erect permanent floodlights at our home ground.

“This is a huge milestone for the club” said Chairman, Conor Raynor. “We’ve been working on this for the past 12-months, securing funding and pulling together our planning application.”

“We’ve had a small team of volunteers helping us in the background, who I’d like to say a massive thanks to. This is a big step on our way to pushing for Step 6 football, and beyond, in the very near future. It shows a real sign of intent from the club that we are here for the long-run, and have big plans on the horizon.”

“Not only will this impact on our Senior teams, but hopefully shows our current Juniors that we are going places as a club, and that they will hopefully be representing the club under the lights one day!”

The club will look to carry out the installation of the floodlights in the coming months, with help from volunteers.
